UK BBQ season is short, and the delivery window even shorter.
We know how short our summers are. Miss it - and there goes our Customer’s prime revenue for the year! Co-ordinating and planning peak season priorities among the general pressures of logistics’, and during the holiday season when resources are stretched, is never easy. That’s why companies come to Superior. After all that’s what we do, and do well.
For example, one regular customer requires 1500 palletised orders to be delivered from their site to the end user. This involves the provision of: -
- Peak season resource capability and management covering whole of UK
- A ‘home delivery’ service
- Specialised handling ability
- Timed collections and timed delivery options
- Overnight, same day and next day delivery schedules
- Track, Trace, and electronic POD’s
- Redelivery and Returns programme
- Daily Reporting
Our Customer keeps coming back, so we must be doing it well!
Another Customer specialising in Ship's Spares, needs us to chase Ocean going and Inshore vessels around Europe involving critically controlled delivery targets, and often, very small time-slot windows to be met. Ships can seldom wait. To do so effects onward sailing schedules, can incur massive port and lay-time costs reaching hundreds of thousands of pounds, can mean contract penalties are incurred. Missed deliveries are not an option – so they come to Superior.
And yet one more! If you are involved in overseas trade Exhibitions, you know how fraught with problems they can be. Superior can help, just last year we provided dedicated transport to move goods from UK storage to Italy, then Italy to France, then back to Italy, back to France and home to the UK. All perfectly timed and co-ordinated with the Exhibition site and the Exhibition controller.
These are examples to demonstrate Superior not only deal with the daily norm, but can provide that extra special service when required.
