Training and advisory programs:
We know the importance of sharing both skills and knowledge within the breadth and complexity of import and export activities. Many freight forwarders, customers, and practitioners find it better to keep things private or even keep them secret. Superiors do not share this view. We're not talking about commercial sensitivities, we're talking about working together to achieve a seamless understanding of international logistical processes. Customs rules, regulations and processes (both global and local); and the many hurdles that need to be clarified in order to enable the successful movement of goods, the avoidance of problems and any subsequent costs, the successful completion of transactions and payments. Removing puzzles and providing instructions works both ways and most importantly, creates trust and creates a true partnership approach to such a critical business relationship. Ask about our training programs and workshops to improve understanding: Incoterms Letters of credit and payments Import and export practices and customs processes Workshops to exchange ideas Awareness programs and workshops for customer employees Tailor-made workshops.
Documentary Credits:
70% of all letter of credit presentations are rejected at the first presentation to the bank. A statistic that has hardly changed in 50 years! Shocking isn't it? Most of the time it comes down to the skills and resources to manage the process, which is often a resource problem for exporters or when the use of letters of credit is cramped. The fact is, most letters of credit go wrong at the beginning, not the end. Superior offers advice and guidance in the proforma invoice phase or even earlier in the contract negotiation phase. We will tell you how to help: - To instruct your buyer Creation and formulation of your proforma invoice or an alternative offer document To get a copy of the pre-advice of a letter of credit from your buyer before the bank issues it - so that corrections can be made In this way, you can manage the letter of credit as soon as it is received by the issuing / advising bank Check processability before committing to shipping And then we will: - Advise any problems or probable problems Create or support the entire creation and compilation of documentation Manage all shipping processes and shipping documents Review all documents before sending them to the payment / advisory bank Manage the presentation of documents The fact is, letters of credit need to be understood by everyone involved in the process, not least the sales team, accounting team, operations, and even warehouse and logistics teams.
